SPECIAL EDUCATION
The Special Education Department is structured to meet the educational needs of students who have some type of learning problem. A student cannot receive special education services unless mandated by the PPT. Every special education student has an Individualized Education Plan for each special education class. Our department provides social work and speech and hearing services. The PPT for each special education student meets at least once a year. Psychological examinations must be updated every three years. Hillhouse also has a full-time school psychologist.
